There are still many of them whom we truly loved and admired…

Wondering why I chose this music? just love the beat… Read on… and enjoy the show…

Note: I’ve posted this already on my fb post but just wanna post it here as well… It’s my huggy giant’s 29th birthday!

I am asking myself these questions for so many times… Why do I love him despite all those negative things I heard about him… Why does my heart beats for him? I have been interrogated by my heart and my mind because even them cannot get the right answer. Corny? Hmmm… I really do not care how will you take it but I am just trying to express how I truly felt about him. We do not have that perfect relationship, what we have is pure love and contentment with each other. We are both positive that God brought us together for a reason. Whatever is that reason, I am glad and will always be. I grew up with the belief that men were born to frustrate women (that’s the impression that my father left in my heart). I have so many frustrations, I have so many doubts, I have so many questions- but I realized that these are the proofs that my heart really beats for him..Why? because without those feelings, I am completely unmindful of this relationship, but I’m not. I tried to be numb but I just cannot deny it nor I can deceive myself… Corny again? but that is just the truth.
My doubts and confusions put him to the tests- but he survived. I tried to give up for countless times but he remained. I pushed him away but he never let go. I cannot explain how God made me feel this way.
Why am I sharing all these feelings? Because it matters…
One thing is certain… I love this man and I am very much willing to spend the rest of my life with him if God willing. ???

TCP: The Notebook

Wow I love this story so much! It’s a story of undying love and affection…t proves that love is lovelier at the second time around. Ryan Gosling and RAchel McAdams played the lead role so well…
I was just on my early 20’s and quite in love when I watched this movie.
Here’s the full synopsis:
In a modern-day nursing home, an elderly man named Duke (James Garner) begins to read a love story from his notebook to a female fellow patient (Gena Rowlands).

The story begins in 1940. At a carnival in Seabrook Island, South Carolina, local country boy Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling) sees seventeen-year-old heiress Allie Hamilton (Rachel McAdams) for the first time and is immediately smitten. She continuously refuses his persistent advances until their well-meaning friends lure them together; they then get to know each other on a midnight walk through empty Seabrook.

Noah and Allie spend an idyllic summer together. One night, a week before Allie is to leave town, she and Noah go up to an abandoned house called The Windsor Plantation. Noah tells her that he hopes to buy the house, and Allie makes him promise that the house will be white, with blue shutters, a walk-around porch, and a room that overlooks the creek so she can paint. They intend to make love for the first time, but are interrupted by Noah’s friend Fin (Kevin Connolly) with the news that Allie’s parents have the police out looking for her. When Allie returns home, her disapproving parents ban her from seeing Noah again. Allie fights with Noah outside and the two decide to break up. Allie immediately regrets the decision but Noah drives away. The next morning, Allie’s mother reveals that they are going home that morning. Allie frantically tries to find Noah, but is forced to leave without saying good-bye. The Hamiltons then send Allie to New York, where she begins attending Sarah Lawrence College. Noah, devastated by his separation from Allie, writes her one letter a day for a year, only to get no reply as Allie’s mother keeps the letters from her. Noah and Allie have no choice but to move on with their lives. Allie continues to attend school, while Noah and Fin enlist to fight in World War II. Fin is killed in battle.

Allie becomes a nurse for wounded soldiers. There, she meets the wealthy Lon Hammond, Jr. (James Marsden), a well-connected young lawyer who is handsome, sophisticated, charming and comes from old Southern money. The two eventually become engaged, to the joy of Allie’s parents, although Allie sees Noah’s face when Lon asks her to marry him.

When Noah returns home, he discovers his father has sold their home so that Noah can go ahead and buy The Windsor Plantation. While visiting Charleston to file some paper work, Noah witnesses Allie and Lon kissing at a restaurant, causing Noah to go a little crazy, convincing himself that if he fixes up the house, Allie will come back to him.

While trying on her wedding dress in the 1940s, Allie is startled to read about Noah completing the house in the style section of a Raleigh newspaper and faints. She visits Noah in Seabrook and he invites her to dinner, during which Allie tells Noah about her engagement. Noah questions whether Allie’s future husband is a good man and she reassures Noah that he is. Later in the evening, Noah invites Allie to come back tomorrow.

In the present, it is made clear that the elderly woman is Allie suffering from dementia, which has stolen her memories and Duke is her husband. Allie does not recognize their grown children and grandchildren, who beg Duke to come home with them. He insists on staying with Allie… click here for more
You’ve got to watch it if you have the chance…

MYM: Submission
Kneeling before God is the most humbling and rewarding experience that any one can do.
Have you kneeled before God today?

MYM: A Little Yellow…

The Best Man on his Best Suit. This picture was taken last year during my sister’s wedding. Take a look at the yellow table cover, based on the motif.

ALong Distance Love Affair…

Many were asking if how did I manage my relationship with my Huggy considering that we are far from each other… Well, it’s a matter of faith and trust. Because for me, if He is part of God’s plan in my life then there’s no reason to fear… But if not, for sure God will reveal it to me the soonest possible time without weighing my heart down… hmmm… 🙂

Stronger and Better…Our Second Anniversary in our relationship…
Good thing he CAME home…
Good thing also that I have already adjusted to our situation…
And his absence doesn’t hurt me that much anymore
And it’s all because, I just simply entrust everything to God…

No More Lonely Nights

Break-up is indeed a heartbreaking experience… Some couple ended their rlationship even if they don’t really mean it… Insecurities could be one reason. And who can afford to see their beloved ex-partner on other’s arms? Only the insensitive and the numb can do that or shall we say those who do not really take the relationship seriously. They said that love is lovelier at the second time around. Considered proven, but how about if you lost the chance of winning him/her back? Obviously, there’s no more second chance! Too bad 🙁 Imagine the feeling (or can you?) Making up (in a hopeless situation) is difficult. No matter how many advices you can solicit from others, if the situation doesn’t pave an avenue for reconciliation it’s really hard to imagine… and maybe, making up is just an illusion… but no, if there’s a will, there has to be a way! Most specially for married couples… Breakups is not a litttle thing-something is to be done! NEVER LET GO, NEVER GIVE UP! Consulting a marriage counselor, or any experts can be of great help… but possibilities are beyond limits for those who really have the strong determination to mend what has been broken… After all, heart and relationship really matters!

I Didn’t Know…Wow… just love this song….

Highly Motivated
The short cut way of winning the heart of young people is by befriending them… That’s what my huggy did to some Out-of-school youth in Maramag near to his vicinity… He was really highly motivated to do more for the ministry in Maramag! Now, there are growing numbers of attendant every Sunday service and even to their bonding session where all they have to do is make some fun like playing UNO or Scrabble… Let’s continue to pray that many precious souls will be drawn back to God!

Way Back Into Love

Barely a week ago, my huggy texted me a very urgent message: to browse for the lyrics of this song and have it printed and to be sent to him… When asked what’s with the song the reply was- i just love the tune :))hmmm.. whatever hahahaha…

Musta na mo?!

Somebody asked me one time how’s my relationship with my huggy… i just simply smile and said “We’re still ok”…follow up question: “nakaadjust na ka?” “maybe” was my shortest reply. Many people (if not all) believes that Long distance relationship have rare chances of surviving… I don’t want to listen to this kind of comment because personally, I really do not like LDR. But given the situation to where I am right now, I should keep the faith. Lately, a friend of mine whose into a Long-distance relationship for quite a while is in pain right now- far than what was expected, they never succeeded… as for the reason-that I do not know… then it occurs to me, there’s no PERFECT relationship, whether long distance or not, if two persons were really meant for each other they they will really end up with each other.. As for me, I can never tell… I can’t comment as to what the future may bring for both of us… Only GOD KNOWS

Taming the Tongue…How to tame the tongue when you’re in the burst of emotional anger?
It takes wisdom… a long pause… a deep breathe…
and a long sigh…
hope that could really help…

Going Back..

there he goes again… back to where God put him.. as to when i see him again-that’s a big question… well , if time and God will allow it, maybe in few weeks… or few months… or some other years…
the difference on the first day he left and now was that, i tried to hold back my emotion and i did it successfully! would this mean that i was able to adjust with our situation? or maybe… well i don’t wanna elaborate more…
God knows best, so everything, unto Him I will rest.

28 years and still counting…

today is his birthday.. his 28th birthday!
Got a lot of reasons to thank God for:
a. the ministry at Maramag
b. the newly found friends
c. the new neighbors
d. the new challenges
e. the answered prayers!

Indeed God is good, His love endures forever…

He will always be faithful to us!

To God be the glory!

Lost and Found….
If you are not familiar to a place and you get lost from your companion, what should be the first thing that you are going to do?
a) cry
b) screamed for help (exaggerated :))
c) call the police
d) none of the above

If you were born half a century ago where technology knows nothing yet about mobile communication then perhaps you will really get panicked and do all or most of the options above…

Good thing there is a mobile phone… added premium to that is the unlimited texting…
(Thanks to Globe, SMART and SUN) {Where’s the moon?}
Junie was lost in the middle of where? IN GAISANO MALL VALENCIA hahahaha…
They went there to buy curtains… and maybe he’s up to something that out of his knowledge he get lost! The mall isn’t that big anyway for such a big guy like him 🙂
Good thing he got a preloaded unlimited (for a day) phone and voila, texted me asking for Ate Nelg’s number… GOod thing i got a preloaded unlimited (for a day) phone too!
That settles it…

Ultimate Goal

Wow…being out in the field is such a great challenge! Everyday you’ll be dealing a new experiences… When you are out in the field, you’ll able to discover a lot of things… How much more if you’re in the field for a mission, not just a mere mission but a mission with a cause…

What’s more exciting is that you’ll get the chance to meet a lot of people with different personalities… It is through them that we’ll get to know ourselves better by the way we deal with them…
His experience on the field is something he was really thankful about…
Children often visits them just to play with them or ask them to teach them something new! Wow! isn’t it great?!
He learned to love his new surrounding, he learned to like the people around him and he is pursuing more to finish his race with a triumphant heart that in the end, God’s rewards will be overwhelming!

Out From His Comfort Zones…

Who would want to escape from his comfort zones and do something unusual? Only few did. Only few has the heart to give up something for new uncommon things… Some prefer to stay where they used to be… to a place where contentment is at its peak… But what difference does it make if we’ll go out from our comfort zones and do something that is more sensible beyond our comfort… It could never be that easy… It needs patience and dedication… But isn’t life more fulfilling if we did something not because we are obliged but rather we have the compassion to do so?
How about you? When will you go out from your comfort zone? 🙂

Being a laborer in the field is a very challenging task! You need time, talent, effort and of course dedication! The absence of any of those I’ve mentioned earlier may crippled anyone who attempts to be on the field… You may have the time,but you don’t have the effort and the talent then maybe it will be difficult to continue… But however, there are ways to move ahead if you have the DEDICATION to do so.. it’s the attitude of the heart that matters… Things can be learned,time can be spared, talent can be taught but the heart- it’s a personal thing, a personal conviction of every individual…
Have a happy Tuesday everyone!

He Has Decided To Follow Jesus…

I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.

Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.

The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.

Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.

Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
No turning back, no turning back

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

A couple of years ago, he made a decision to accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour, now he decided to follow Him by obeying the Great Commission…

His Parents…

Old picture from his parents during their wedding… I can really tell how much he cared for them… They were both old now, his father is bedridden… his mother takes care of his father… I once called her mom on the day he left and she was crying (actually we both cried that I hung up the phone)… According to her, this was the first time that his youngest son was quite far from her… The more she burst into tears when he hugged him tight before he left… He is not that showy in expressing his love or feelings… His mother knew that, but they can really feel how much he cared for them though they misunderstood each other sometimes…
She even planned to go with him at first, but she just can’t leave her husband alone… Right then and there after that short conversation, I realized and proved that indeed, Junie was quite a Mama’s boy hehehe…

Jeremiah 29:11

This is the promise of God…
This is what he was holding on and hoping for…
This is what keeps him going…
This is what keeps him to continue with his calling…
This is the promise that he keeps in his heart…
And this is the promise that gives meaning to all his endeavor

    An exceptionally good post. This short article sums up for me personally what this subject depends upon and some of the essential benefits that can be caused by being aware of it as should you. A friend as soon as pointed out that you have a completely different mindset when you do something for certain instead of when youre simply just toying with it. When it comes to this sort of subject, In my opinion you’re taking, or even start to think about, a more expert as well as thorough approach to each what and how you write, which in turn helps you to keep on and get better and manual other people who dont know something about what you’ve shared right here. Thanks.
